Macadamia integrifolia is a flowering evergreen tree classified under Kingdom Plantae and Phylum Magnoliophyta (angiosperms), one of the four major plant phyla commonly studied: Bryophyta, Pteridophyta, Gymnosperms, and Angiosperms. As an angiosperm, it produces true flowers and enclosed seeds. Native to eastern Australia, it grows up to 20 meters tall with smooth gray bark and glossy, dark green, lanceolate leaves arranged in whorls. Creamy-white to pale pink flowers form in long racemes.
